Muse adalah sebuah band yang berasal dari Inggris beraliran musik rock alternative. Anggota band ini terdiri dari tiga orang yakni Matthew Bellamy (vokal, gitar, piano, keytar), Chris Wolstenholme (bass, backing vokal, keyboard, gitar) dan Dominic Howard (drum, perkusi). Kadang manusia dalam menyampaikan kebenaran mendapatkan tantangan yang sangat besar dan berat. 

Is your secret safe tonight?

Kekukuhan dalam mempertahankan kebenaran dan kebaikan itu harus dibayar mahal. Kesakitan 2 demi kesakitan 2 baik secara fisik maupun batin harus diterima.

Tetapi memang melaggar nilai 2 kebenaran, kebaikan, yakni nilai2 kemanusiaan sekarang ini memang sudah keterlaluan. Hegemoni yang jahat harus dilawan.

Tidak ada manusia yang sempurna.  Kebenaran yang diyakini sesuatu kaum belum tentu benar bagi kaum lainnya. Tetapi kebaikan—memberi, berbagi, membahagiakan-- adalah universal dan layak untuk dipertahankan manusia sebagai makhluk berakal.

Manusia dalam hidupnya harus dapat mempertahankan kebenaran dan kebaikan dalam dirinya. Karena kebaikan dan kebenaran inilah beserta upaya 2 untuk mempertahankannya dapat menerangi hati nurani manusia 2 lainnya.

Resistance: cinta  dapat mempersatukan manusia di bawah payung kebenaran dan kebaikan, untuk selalu membela kebenaran dan kebaikan. Menjadikan manusia resisten terhadap segala macam upaya untuk menghancurkan kebenaran dan kebaikan itu. Menjadikan manusia tahan dari segala upaya untuk menghancurkan kemanusiaan manusia. Indah sekali.
